Time for Some Updates..

I can't believe that it's been a week since I last posted on my blog. Well, it's not like a lot of things have happened, except that I caught the flu and I'm praying that I won't get upgraded in the next two days while I'm on reserve. 

I flew to Singapore on my 3rd day, and we broke the record for inflight sales! Even though it was a 3-hour flight, I hardly noticed the time because I was too busy trying to put my sales skills to the test. Good thing too, 'cause I was able to sell a cap and a really cute usb flash drive which looks like the one on the left except that it's customized to look like an Airphil Express plane.

Yesterday, I had a flight from Manila to Iloilo, and even though it was an early morning flight (0515H with a reporting time of 0415H), I couldn't really complain because we flew with the cast of ASAP! The show was held in Iloilo because of the Dinagyang Festival. I'm not really into showbiz personalities, because I rarely get to watch TV but that particular flight was certainly interesting. I had to brief Vina Morales, Shaina Magdayao, Richard Poon, etc. who were all seated in the exit row. I just have to say, they're all pleasant and cooperative, and they didn't think twice about letting me put their bags in the overhead bins. I wish all passengers could be like them! Oh, I kinda screwed up my safety demo and I heard some passengers up front snicker. I know I should be offended, but they were teenage guys and we (people who are mature enough) all know not to take them seriously. hahaha.

So far, the people I've flown with have been nice, helpful, and considerate to a newbie like me, so even though I'm not sure if they'd be able to read this, I'd still like to say thanks. It's always nice to work with people who not only do a great job, but who also share their expertise. :)

And that's it for now...need to study just in case I get called out for a flight tomorrow (but still crossing my fingers that I won't be).
